For the first time in ages, zero stitching was done this past weekend. I was completely engrossed with this:
Thomas Kinkade's Emerald Valley. Did I mention I have a thing for Ireland? Totally Nora Roberts' influence there.
It's my first 1000 piece jigsaw puzzle and I finished it in less than three days. Pretty proud of that fact if I do say so myself ^.^ Now I have to find a way to frame it without glue. Any ideas?
Monday's 6 Fat Man SAL needs no more introduction. The boring borders are done! That by itself warrants a mini celebration.
The fun stuff starts next Monday :D

I love jigsaws got a good few to do myself,if i ever get around to it.And in 3 days more like 3 years with me. :)
With framing,what if you got the backing board and spray glue it and then slide the jigsaw on to the board ?.

Oh, that really is a lovely Thomas Kinkade scene, Veronica!! I hope you can figure out a way to frame it. I'll bet there are some tips online.

Congrats on finishing the fat men borders. I love the jigsaw puzzle, I have over 500 puzzles. That is one of my favorite hobbies, except when I start nothing else gets done.

I love puzzles. My old puzzles (500, 1000, 5000 pieces) are with my sister who is bored to pieces. Time to get a new one and it will be one of his.
Puzzles are great, when I was younger my mum used to do them, she didnt have one of those jigsaw roll things so it was always on the table. It was great, because no-one could sit near it without doing a bit of it. Its a long time since I have done one. This one looks great, and to have done it in three days is brilliant.

What a great puzzle! I find that we do more of those during the winter months.

Ooooh! A puzzle!! I used to do puzzles ALL the time as a kid and teenager! I should get one out...so much fun! I love the one you did and boy would I love to live there too!! Great progress on your SAL! Love the borders...now the fun part is going to begin!!

It looks awesome! I have a few Thomas Kinkade puzzles and they're always a joy to put together. I also love the variegated thread of the snowmen borders - looks great!
