6 Geese-A-Laying

Phew! This is the first I've ever encountered so many French knots in a single pattern. Luckily for me, I had mastered them earlier this year or I would have found them a real pain and goodness knows how long it would've taken me to finish stitching this. Anyway, this is for Kirsty's RR. Now we're officially halfway through the "Margaret Sherry's 12 Days of Christmas RR". So, can anyone tell me, are goose eggs really that pretty and colourful?

  2. Next day, me again!!
At the end of June you showed us your Chairs 4-Seasons RR and asked if there was a fourth who would like to join. Did you ever find that person? If not, I would be more than happy to do one of your 'Chairs'. Now please don't feel obligated to let met do it - it's your own choice and I'm fine either way.

  4. Your Goose looks great. I've never seen a gooses egg before but, I don't think they are that pretty. I think they are white.

  6. Superb job as always Veronica - french knots are always a pain, but you seem to have mastered the technique brilliantly here. Well done! :)

  7. Between beading and french knots...I prefer french knots. They are so easy to do once you get the hang out of it.

  8. Well done Veronica. Wow he is cute. I struggled doing 6 geese on the afghan, so didn't get to finish my piece. I have the next piece to post to you, so you will have 3 of them soon lol.

Just got to get it finished before I post tho lol.

  9. The best 'version' of the 12 days of Christmas I ever heard was a bunch of Chinese language students in Taiwan singing about measure words!!!
"wuge xuesheng, sizhang zhi, sanzhibi, liangben shu, xianzai women zuexi measure words"!!!=)

  11. Well, in MS's world, goose eggs are green. I like it. In our world, they're white, and it's much less fun. One of the little things that explain MS's success...
    Very beautiful stitching!
    Hugs!
